he Domestic Goose is a bird characterized by its orange beak and legs and gray and white plumage.

Weighs approximately 3.3 kg with a length ranging from 76 to 89 cm. Males are larger than females.

Their voice is very strong and they are great guards, as they are very active and provide strong signals of any intruder.

Plumage is completed by the 2nd year of age. This goose nests close to water, in the middle of vegetation, laying 4 to 8 cream-colored eggs. The eggs are laid in May – June and brooded by the female for 27-28 days. The goslings are independent at 2 months of age and reach sexual maturity at 3 years of age.

Like all geese, they preferentially feed on herbs, tubers, cereals and aquatic plants.
